Perhaps you've heard about the Red Baron, Manfred von Richthofen, the World War One ace who won 80 combat victories in his aircraft. What if you could experience what it's like to be in his cockpit, dodging and weaving as you fight tooth and nail for supremacy in a one-on-one aerial dogfight?
Now you and your friend can take off from an airfield in Sydney in two separate planes and re-create the visceral, stomach-churning aerobatic combat that captured the imagination on every side in World War One.
After both of you are fully kitted with all the clothing and equipment needed for combat flying, pilots will brief you on the day's safety and flight conditions. Then it's time for you and your friend to enter separate planes. With your friend in one cockpit and you in the other, the pilots of your planes will re-enact the battles of a bygone era, playing the Red Baron himself or Captain Roy Brown, the Canadian pilot credited with finally bringing down the German ace.
Following the simulated dogfight, the pilots will make your head (and stomach) spin with aerobatic manoeuvres before flying you back to the airfield in a formation landing.
After this 45-minute experience, you will never see flying the same way again.

This experience is for two people.
You are not permitted to carry anything on the flight. You cannot flyif you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
All passengers must be in good physical health, less than 190 cm tall, and 100 kg in weight. If under 18, you must have parental consent. If you have a physical disability, please let us know in advance.
Military aircraft are built and tested to different standards than that put forward by CASA or any equivalent international civil aviation governing body. As such, in accordance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulation Parts 132.140, 132.150 and 132.155;
- The design, manufacture and airworthiness of the aircraft are not required to meet any standard recognised by CASA; and
- CASA does not require the aircraft to be operated to the same degree of safety as an aircraft used for regular public transport or charter operations; and
- The passenger agrees to participate in this flight at his or her own risk; and
- If it is reasonable to believe that a passenger cannot understand the safety briefing; said passenger must be accompanied on the flight by a parent, guardian, or carer; and
- A detailed briefing will be provided to the passenger before they board the aircraft. This will include signing a liability waiver and acknowledgment of the briefing. If the passenger is under 18 years of age the waiver and acknowledgment must be signed by a parent, or legal guardian.
