This advanced driver training course builds your sense of the car and road - spend a day practicing vehicle dynamics to braking technique and emergency situations.

Educated drivers with an understanding of vehicle dynamics, the right methods of car control from seating, vision, to steering are far safer on the roads and this course gets you there.
Learn braking techniques for different set ups including ABS and non-ABS vehicles, the causes of skidding, how to control a skid, and prevent it happening.
Regardless of your driving experience, the course raises your awareness in relation to speed, reaction times and stopping distances. Learn how your vehicle reacts in emergency situations and have fun along the way.
The practical component is conducted on wet roads at suburban speeds. Whilst the classroom component covers driver attitude, basic road safety concepts and the key principals of defensive driving. This takes you through understanding how motivations, and risk taking behaviour can affect driver safety and the safety of other road users.
This experience runs from 8.15am to around 4pm.
The experience is available on selected dates throughout the year.
Valid for one person. Up to 40 people may be on the course.
This experience is suitable for everyone from 16-80 years old, and for most cars including 4WDs and light commercial vehicles. If you hold a learners permit, please bring someone with you that holds a full licence.
