On the day, you get a full briefing on the track at Colo Park. There are cars to look over, plus expert coaching from professional instructors who help you to build your speed and confidence.

Drive for 8 laps learning to get to grips with high speed and controlled cornering. Receive a fantastic hot lap with our super cool pro race driver at the end.

Need to Know

Good weather is required for rally driving. Final decisions and judgments are made at the track by our experienced professional drivers.

The experience runs for approximately 2 hours from start to finish.

Courses are held at least 2 days per month at Colo Park.

Valid for one person. The course is conducted in small group sizes.

No previous experience is necessary. Cars have a manual transmission with a Paddle Shift, no clutch option suitable for all drivers. Guests, mates, and family are welcome. Bring a camera or video. In-car DVDs are available on the day.

Suitable for ages 17 to 90. Please advise at time of booking, any medical conditions that could affect the safety of you, the participant or others on the day. Max weight 130kgs. Max height 6 foot and 3 inches.

My gift was for nine laps in a rally car. On the day, we were sharing the cars and drivers who were catering for Half day sessions as well.Unfortunately, the nine lap people had to wait for about two hours for the half dayers to get through their session before they could do their hot lap.It got pretty boring standing around for that long on a cold windy rally track

Firstly I had a GREAT time - but only because I combined two packages and got 16 laps of driving plus orientation and hot laps and they were both gifts. Even that was a bare minimum. The actual course was disappointingly short so a lap doesnt really add up to much. I felt very sorry for people who travelled all that way for a 6 lap experience - their in car time would have been less than 10 minutes.As much fun as I had there is no way I could recommend a friend to spend the money and frankly the travel time on the experience. Sorry, I know it's driven by the economics of the operation but there needs to be more experience to match the thrill.
